It's that time of year

Now that it's gotten warmer, stays lighter later, and my bike has been tuned-up, it's time to ride as much as possible. This morning I woke up with stiff calves and burning quads. It's awesome! My sister once told me that my bike was too old and heavy. 'Real' cyclists use clip-in pedals and would have a newer, lighter bike. Well, maybe I'm not a 'real' cyclist, but I do have a good time. And that, Nopo Girl, is really all that matters.

I think you´ve seen my bike, I got it fo my 14th birthday!!! We usually ride our bikes to get from one place to the other, not to work out. It´s better not to use the car for everything especially when you have our gas prices. You don´t have to make a sport out of everything, just enjoy the good weather.
The only time I don´t ride my bike is, when it´s snowing! Carolin

Oh my God (hang head in hands). I am seriously going to have to buy you, Nate and Mom some clipless pedals myself. I can longer stand the lack of coolness in my own family. *Sigh*

Ailey,
Our lack of coolness is paying dividends for us at last! Eryn is going to buy us clipless pedals...does that mean Brian will buy us the shoes, then?

Sweet (jumps up and down)! I knew that someone would take pity on us 'uncool' cyclists if we held out for long enough.
