It's been a while since my last post (a long while), but mainly because my life has been consumed by reading papers, writing papers, and going to work. That isn't of interest to anyone, not even me. But hope is in sight! Summer break beckons and it's only one month away. Summer promises long days, lazy evenings, and time for jogging. Interestingly, this summer promises that Ill be doing those things in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Make that one hot, dry summer, indeed.
Dushanbe might not be good for beaches, cheeseburgers, or off-trail hiking (land mines and all that), but it is good for mountains, Baltikas, and . . . some other things that have yet to be discovered by me. Finally, something to write about! Adventure is so refreshing.
